By using zoar — the editor, the syntax, or any associated services — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use zoar.
The zoar editor is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use it to build websites, applications, and any other projects. The editor runs entirely in your browser — your files remain on your machine.
The zoar syntax is licensed under CC BY-ND 4.0. You may use it freely but may not distribute modified versions of the specification. If you build a tool using the zoar syntax, you must credit the original and link to zoar.dev.
The zoar rendering engine — the parser, compiler, and processing logic — is proprietary software owned by Shepherd Games Private Limited. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute it.
If you use zoar's hosting service, you are responsible for the content you deploy. You may not use our hosting to serve illegal content, malware, spam, or anything that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend deployments that violate these terms.
You retain full ownership of any websites, content, or projects you create using zoar. zoar does not claim ownership over your output. The zoar name, logo, and brand are trademarks of Shepherd Games Private Limited.
zoar is provided as-is without warranty of any kind. Shepherd Games Private Limited is not liable for any damages arising from the use of zoar or content deployed through our hosting service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of zoar after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page.
